Your child will now start the Accelerated Reader  scheme.

After the initial online comprehension assessment your chid will be assigned a number which links to a book level. They will then choose their reading book from the relevant box.  Once your child has read this book and understand the story they will need to do the online comprehension quiz independently. This can be completed at home or at school. On completion of the quiz they can change their book. Therefore there is no set book changing day.

Comprehension is key to success so please read and discuss the book with your child 2-3 times before allowing them to take the quiz.
