Reminders

We expect all children to read for 20 minutes at least 3 times a week. The children will be told which day to bring their reading record into school each week.

Please ensure all jumpers, coats, water bottles and lunch bags with your lunch are clearly labelled with your child’s name.

Don’t for get to use the SeeSaw App to keep up to date with what the children are learning in class we post updates to the class page on a regular basis

Accelerated Reader motivates the children to read more through engaging quizzes, goal setting, and personalized recommendations. As the children increase their reading volume, they develop greater reading stamina, word recognition, and language comprehension skills.

Purple Mash is an award-winning website for primary school children. It enables the children to explore and enhance their knowledge in a fun and creative way. This doesn’t necessarily mean they will be the loudest child in the room – quiet, more introverted people can still be confident, and louder people are often masking insecurity.
