St Vincent De Paul is a Roman Catholic Primary School in St Teresa of Calcutta Roman Catholic Academy Trust. The Academy Trust is the admissions authority, and the Local Governing Board is responsible for taking decisions on applications for admissions.

If your child is 4 years old before 1st September 2025, they will be eligible to start school.
The application round for admission to school in September 2024 opens on Monday 4th September 2025 and closes on Monday 15th January 2025.

A child who moves from school to school at a point during their education is known as an ‘in-year transfer’. A transfer may occur because a family has moved into the area.

You have a statutory right to submit an appeal for a place at your preferred school when your application for a place has been unsuccessful. If you have not been successful in securing a place at your preferred primary school for your child in Reception, follow the link to Local Authority website here.

Appeals resulting from year of entry (Reception) or transfer applications (Year 7 entry) for admission in September 2024 were heard according to the following timetable:
The appeals process for 2023 has now closed and will be reissued once places for September 2024 have been allocated.

Appeals lodged after these dates will be heard as soon as is practicable in accordance with the Guidance.
Appellants will be sent notification of their appeal hearing along with a copy of the school’s case at least 14 days in advance of the hearing.
