On Saturday 9th May, one our very own pupils (Jack) took part in the final of the Lowry Creative Writing competition. Jack’s poem was shortlisted by the judges from over 1000 entries across Greater Manchester. He was invited to take part in a number of workshops with his fellow finalists. Finally, Jack had a chance to perform his poem on the stage of the Quays Theatre in the Lowry. Jack did such an amazing job, with his writing and his performance – he is St Vincent de Paul’s first ever finalist and we are all so proud! A future writer in the making!
